A guest editorial this week, with information on a different way of approaching the stem-cell issue, including some advice for natural healing and boosting of the immune system.

You can hardly get through a week of news without hearing something about stem cells, or more precisely, stem cell research. These news stories are usually about embryonic stem cells and the quest to find ways to use them to cure diseases. They often mention moral objections to various methods for obtaining embryonic stem cells, and they may even occasionally mention cloning.

Experiments with embryonic stem cells as cures have been hampered by two major problems. One is rejection; since the cells are foreign to the body they are trying to heal, there’s a tendency for the body to reject the cells. The other problem is the abnormal mutation of the stem cells; since the function of a stem cell is to mutate into a usable cell within whatever organ it attaches itself to, these cells have the capacity to mutate into just about any type of cell in the body. You could wind up with teeth growing in your heart, or an eye developing in your liver.

Science may one day overcome these obstacles, but in the meantime there’s a better way: use your own adult stem cells. Your bone marrow is constantly producing adult stem cells and sending them out into the bloodstream. They then migrate to where they are needed to replace damaged and dead cells.

There’s a communication system wherein parts of the body in need of repair send out signals calling for stem cells to come and mutate into the type of cell needed to replace those damaged cells. This is one of the normal, natural ways by which the body repairs and maintains itself.

According to The New England Journal of Medicine, one of the best indicators of cardiovascular health is the number of stem cells circulating in the bloodstream. The more stem cells circulating in the bloodstream, the better it is for our cardiovascular health. This is only one of the many health benefits of having more stem cells in the bloodstream.

Scientists have discovered that they can inject an adult stem cell taken from a laboratory animal, with a green florescent protein obtained from jellyfish, and then inject that cell back into an animal’s body. This allows them to track the stem cell and observe its proliferation. From these experiments, they’ve observed these florescent stem cells migrating to a defective organ, becoming cells within that organ and then reproducing themselves to repair the defect. These adult stem cells are thus considered a major factor in achieving and maintaining good health.

What if you could increase the number of stem cells that your bone marrow puts into your bloodstream, and then help them migrate to where they are most needed? Do you think you health would improve? And if so, is it possible to do this? The answers are yes, yes and yes. This can easily be done, using a new product called StemEnhance. The major problems, of rejection and abnormal mutation, are not an issue, since these stem cells are not foreign, so the process is natural to the body, with no chance of abnormal mutation.

Within 30 to 45 minutes after one’s consumption of StemEnhance, the level of stem cells in the bloodstream is increased, by up to 30%. The natural process of maintaining and repairing the body continues, with the extra benefit of having more stem cells available to do their designated work. When an organ is functioning less than optimally, it sends out signals that it needs help from stem cells. With more stem cells available, more are there to come to the rescue. When the stem cells reach the afflicted organ, they become cells of that organ and then duplicate themselves, forming more and more of that type of cell, which then replace the dead and damaged cells.
StemEnhance is derived from a botanical substance know as Aphanizomenon Flos-aquae (AFA for short). You may know it as Blue Green Algae. The scientist who developed StemEnhance, Christian Drapeua, was working with AFA, when he noticed that people were benefiting from it in many different problem-areas: skin, heart, digestion, liver, pancreas … even problems in the brain. On further research, he found that the common denominator was that people who took good amounts of AFA had an increased level of stem cells in their blood.

Mr. Drapeua kept searching, and found two components in AFA (L-selatin Liguand and polysaccharides) that cause the bone marrow to put more stem cells into the bloodstream, while also assisting in the migration process of sending cells where they are needed. In a controlled study he found that StemEnhance increased the number of stem cells in the bloodstream by about 30%. It takes about five pounds of AFA to make one pound of StemEnhance. The product has now been available for about one year, and has helped many people improve their health.

Of course, StemEnhance doesn’t cure anything, at least not officially; according to the FDA, only drugs can cure a disease. However, StemEnhance does seem to give the body the ammunition it needs to do its natural maintenance and repair work, faster and better than it normally would. Many people have had great results with this product, but specific medical claims are not allowed (since it might ruffle the feathers of the FDA, and we certainly don’t want to do that).

You can see a short video of Christian Drapeua describing his experience developing StemEnhance at this link.
