Global Warming File
Is global warming a cause for alarm and a call for immediate drastic governmental action – or is it an elaborate hoax, as many
claim? We have presented some facts and agruments (pro – but mostly con) on this site and will be featuring periodic updates. You decide.
- Take the Global Warming Test –
See if you can pass "Global Warming 101". Lots of interesting data, graphs, charts, and good science on this site.
The test is also featured on the Heartland Institute's website
- Global Warming Is Not A Crisis – a debate on the
subject, sponsored by Intelligence Squared US and featured on PBS (March 2007). Three experts argue
for and three against (the program and individual speeches may be viewed on-line on the PBS site).
- Global Warming: Myths and Reality – by ISIL Director Jarret
Wollstein – from ISIL's Freedom Network News #75 (May-June 2007). Wollstein expresses skepticism regarding doom and gloom claims of some environmentalists
and supports his arguments with current scientific data.
- Global Warming: Man-made or Natural? – by S. Fred Singer, Professor
Emeritus of Environmental Sciences at the University of Virginia, Distinguished Research Professor at George Mason University, and President of the Science and
Environmental Policy Project. Prof. Singer's speech, entitled "Economics and the Environment" was delivered at Hillsdale College in June of this year.
- Global Warming Insanity? by Paul Driessen, author of Eco-imperialism: Black Death.
Driessen introduces new scientific evidence to refute the claims of climate change doomsayers and questions their motives.
- Environment & Climate News
– the Heartland Institute's journal on environmental issues. Environment & Climate News is available as a monthly tabloid-format newsletter or may be
seen on-line. The Heartland Institute's website provides a wealth of documentation and research on the subject.
- Some Global Warming Links.
Our friend Paul Miniato (Tswassen, British Columbia) has compiled this list of global warming-related links.
