eigentümlich frei
Source: ef
Country: Germany
E-mail: Lichtschlag@ef-magazin.de
This is the major libertarian monthly magazine of Germany and the German speaking countries and would be one of the major ones world-wide if it was in English. It is in many ways unique. The print edition is in its 11th year of publication. Many of the top articles are also available online and the website offers archives and now also audio and video and links to its online shop Cap¡tal!sta for libertarian books [including its own publishing imprints "edition ef" (Gelbe Reihe) and "Lichtschlag" (Blaue Reihe)] and other libertarian goods, to its discussion group FreiheitsForum, its blog ef-online and its large online libertarian fashion shop Lightbeat ("Capitalist's Fashion") [includes underwear...]. In so far 19 big cities (from Berlin to Zurich) ef readers have regular restaurant get-togethers or pub meetings ("Libertäre Stammtische") when conversation goes far beyond cracker-barrel philosophy and bar room politics, often with lectures by top libertarians. Individualistic, capitalist, libertarian. In German.

espero

Country: Germany
E-mail: uwe.timm@gmx.net
"ESPERO/Forum für libertäre Gesellschafts- und Wirtschaftsordnung" is a German left-libertarian periodical in its 14th year of publication and published quarterly by the (second) Mackay-Gesellschaft Berlin/Hamburg, succeeding to "Zur Sache", published from 1974 to 1986. Occasionally additional issues to the quarterly ones, plus a series of special editions, books and audiobooks. Devoted to keeping John Henry Mackay's individualist anarchist heritage alive and his books in print. New editions like Mackay's correspondence with Benjamin Tucker. The periodical sees itself mainly as a non-dogmatic platform for controversial discussions of libertarian ideas, including panarchist, free-banking and geolibertarian ones. See also alibro.de. Also distributed (e.g. in Switzerland) by the anarchist distributor anares.org. In German.

Country: Switzerland, Germany, Austria
E-mail: info@paxx.tv
"peace, anarchy, sex, drux & rock ’n’ roll" (blog) and "peace, anarchy, ideas & ideals" (zine) are the site's slogans. The blog is a cooperation between presently nine young authors, four of them also authors (or former authors) of "eigentümlich frei," and is administered by Matt Jenny. The zine features the following authors (translated into German, where applicable): Chris Matthew Sciabarra, Christian Hoffmann, Dietmar-Dominik Hennig, Matt Jenny, Michael Gisiger, Per Bylund, Roderick T. Long, Sheldon Richman.
