With Milosevic finally gone, ISIL's Serbian Rep. Tomislav Krsmanovic has begun to resume his libertarian publishing projects. With financial help from ISIL, he is now producing a Serbian edition of Karl Hess's Capitalism for Kids. Therese Hess has very graciously waived the copyright fees for this.
Other individuals (at our suggestion) have very generously contributed to the project.
Depending upon the success of the Hess book, Tomis will most likely do as he has done in the past and produce Macedonian, Croatian and Albanian editions.
Tomislav has also been translating Ayn Rand's remarkable little gem "Anthem."
This novel, besides providing a capsulization of Ayn Rand's thinking, is short enough to be an affordable project for those with very limited resources. It was published in Romania a few years ago by ISIL Rep. Valentina Nicolae. ISIL has fronted the money for a first test run of "Anthem" in Serbia.
Healing Our World" in German
and "Jonathan Gullible" in Korean
The Liberal Akademie Berlin, which hosted the 1998 ISIL World Conference, has announced that it will produce a German edition of ISIL director Mary Ruwart's "Healing Our World." This will make the ninth language for Mary's acclaimed book.
ISIL director Ken Schoolland reports that a Korean edition of his libertarian fable "The Adventures of Jonathan Gullible," translated by Kyung Mee Jung, has been accepted for commercial publication by the prominent Moonwhamadong publishing house. This will make 23 languages in print for this remarkable international best-seller! The total number of translations will quickly reach 25 when we receive confirmation of the commencement of the Japanese and Somali serialized editions.
Ken has also completed the third, expanded edition of the English Jonathan Gullible. This book is extremely effective for educating teenagers (in a light-hearted way) on free-market economic principles. Now available through ISIL.
