The remarkable international success of Ken Schoolland's The Adventures of Jonathan Gullible: A Free Market Odyssey continues
– with the book rapidly approaching the 40-language milestone!
Sri Lanka: The Sinahalese-language version of the UK Commentary Editon of JG (originally prepared by Janette Eldridge in South Africa)
has just been published by Luxman Siriwardena and his Pathfinder Foundation in Colombo. This is the 37th language for Jonathan Gullible! Funding for printing was
provided by ISIL’s Jonathan Gullible Fund.
Argentina: Thanks to a grant arranged by ISIL member Henry Weyerhaeuser and organizational assistance by Juan Carlos
Hidalgo of Costa Rica, an updated Spanish edition of JG, translated by Hernan Alberro of Buenos Aires, is just now finishing publication through Oscar Wingord and his
publishing house in Argentina. (The earlier Spanish edition was produced several years ago by Judy Nagy in Ecuador). Wingord's company handles book distribution across
Latin America.
Slovakia: The translation by Branislav Opaterny is complete, and Ken Schoolland will attend the official book launch in Bratislava just
after the ISIL Prague conference.
An Esperanto edition and an updated Polish JG will be ready later this year. JG is also in various stages of progress in Arabic,
Bosnian, Hebrew, Nepalese, and Thai. A movie project is just getting started.
Several of these projects will require funding assistance. Contributions to ISIL's Jonathan Gullible Fund are always welcomed, and are
tax-deductible in the USA.
