ISIL Networking Generates New Jonathan Gullible Publications
Cover art for the St. Petersburg UK Commonwealth edition of the Adventures of Jonathan Gullible now in the works.
ISIL director Ken Schoolland's acclaimed free-market fable The Adventures of Jonathan Gullible continues to lead the way in
spreading the ideas of liberty to the far corners of the world.
Russian Editions
We have just received the cover art from Vitaly (William) Milonov for the new St. Petersburg Russian Edition of Jonathan Gullible (not
to be confused with the new Moscow Russian edition by Alexander Kouryaev. Both are yet to be published.
Mongolian Update
Professor B. Batchuluun of the Mongolian Libertarian Society has published an updated Mongolian edition of JG, based on the annotated
UK Commentary edition originally developed by Janette Eldridge in South Africa. This project resulted from his meeting both Ken and Janette at last year's ISIL World
Conference in Prague. Yet another of many accomplishments arising from ISIL conferences!
A Nigerian Play
Thomas Adedayo of Lagos produced a play script based on Jonathan Gullible (printed with assistance from ISIL). He quickly lined up
performances at several Nigerian universities.
Georgia Joins The List
Paata Sheshelidze, president of the dynamic New Economic School in Tbilisi, has
completed the Georgian translation, and has just put it on-line.
This project also evolved out of meetings at the Prague conference. A printed version is expected soon. This marks the 42nd language
translation for Jonathan Gullible!
Some 15 more language editions are in various stages of progress. One is Turkish, organized by yet another Prague attendee, Bugra
Kalkan of the Association Liberal in Ankara. ISIL provided funds earlier this year for the translation.
Flash Animation Language Count Soaring
Thanks to an international team of Steve Cobb (USA), Mario Knezovic (Germany), Kris Haladus (Poland), and Dima Shevchenko (Russia), the
language count for the popular on-line flash animation Philosophy of Liberty (based on the epilogue to the Jonathan Gullible book that summarizes the
principles), has reached 20. The five latest languages are Danish, Hungarian, Italian, Lithuanian, and Polish. These are accessible through both
www.isil.org and www.jonathangullible.com
And you can get occasional "JG Update" e-mails by contacting Ken Schoolland at schoollak001@hawaii.rr.com
Many of the upcoming Jonathan Gullible projects are in Third World countries, and will need help in order to get to press. Donations may be made to the Jonathan Gullible Fund through ISIL, and are tax-deductible in the USA.
